![]() Something unique to the True Pacifist Route post-credits sequence is an additional scene with Papyrus and Sans. After a brief monologue over how he intends to keep monsters safe from "evil-doers," the figure promptly reveals himself as Crossbones-telling Chara they're "the bad guy" as he holds them at gunpoint with his ketchup gun. A note on a tree will tell them to "beware of Crossbones" before they proceed to the next room, with a figure standing at the top of a watchtower. As Chara walks through the forest, they will be stalked by some kind of entity. The credits will then roll, playing the normal version of What Comes Next with a scrolling parallax background of The City of Old.Ī few seconds after the credits conclude, the player will be introduced to a brief preview of Stardust Woods, a section of the next major area, Starlight Isles. He'll give Chara hints on how to complete any missing side quests, then tell them they have "a whole world waiting.outside that exit door."Īt the end of the demo, the exit door to Ruined Home will open, and Chara will slowly approach it as the screen fades to white. If the player returns to the very start of Ruined Home, Flowey will show up at the flowerbed. They claim to be Chara's "new pal," promise them assistance in the future, then say "see you then!" before leaving. After they begrudgingly do so, Flowey introduces himself to Chara and gives them advice on how "their sweetness won't work" with everyone in the Underground. The Temmies react in surprise, though seemingly demonstrating some familiarity with who he is, and Flowey threatens to get Asgore if they don't leave. Right as they're about to engage in a fight, however, Flowey shows up. After saying "nobody will hear you scream," each of the Temmies start closing in on Chara, laughing. They taunt Chara over their decisions, saying they've made no impact and there isn't a happy ending to this story for them. Five initially appear, expressing excitement over cornering Chara and their SOUL, and then a final silhouetted Temmie-the possible "leader"-will appear. Temmie will admit their surprise over Chara getting through without killing anyone, comment on the amount of times they died (if any), and make them question whether their decisions were really "worth it." After this, they introduce their "friends," which appear to be silhouetted Temmies. If one returns to Asgore's house, he can be seen sleeping in his chair.Īfter that, Chara will encounter Temmie at the end of Ruined Home. ![]() He gives some parting words of encouragement, hugs Chara, and addresses them by name after they finally tell him.
